Amy's coaching philosophy is rooted in taking a holistic approach—considering the whole person, their unique experiences, and their aspirations. In particular, an effective coaching approach considers the nuances of how you as the client experiences the world around you to help you effectively navigate to your goals. Amy leverages approaches rooted in psychology and human behavior sciences to co-create actionable strategies tailored to each client’s needs. By identifying strengths, bridging skill gaps, and fostering confidence, she helps clients navigate their journeys of self-discovery, develop as leaders, and thrive in all aspects of life.

With a deep commitment to her clients’ success, Amy is here to help you chart your path forward, overcome obstacles, and achieve new heights professionally and personally.

Method

My approach is grounded in my training at Columbia University's prestigious Coaching Certification Program and the 3CP framework developed by Dr. Terrence E. Maltbia, Program Director.  The program of Teachers College is in partnership with the Executive Education Division of the Columbia Business School,  Learn more about the 3CP framework here.

3CP is theoretically grounded in the Science of Human Performance, which states that understanding any form of human performance, and related interactions, is a function of the context (i.e., structuralism and constructivist philosophical orientation), content (i.e., phenomenology), and conduct (i.e., behavioralism).

3CP is a multidisciplinary approach to coaching with an emphasis on integrating theory with practice. It draws many theories from the behavioral sciences including adult learning and development, psychology, management education, and communication.
